January 12th: The Patch Works was Lost in the Stacks

On Friday, January 12th, at 12:00 pm, Georgia Tech Library’s radio show and podcast – Lost in the Stacks – featured Jacob and Nina Elsas from The Patch Works. The show discussed The Patch Works and the Georgia Tech Archives and the relationship they’ve formed over the past few years in the areas of non-custodial advisors and community building. Dr. Jody Lloyd Thompson, Head of Archives, Records Management & Digital Curation Department, also participated in this discussion.

Since 2015, these archives have provided invaluable information, as The Patch Works has strived to understand better the history of Fulton Bag & Cotton Mills and The Fulton Mill Village (aka Cabbagetown). Anyone interested in knowing more about these collections, please tune in!
