Complianz | The Privacy Suite for WordPress

This website uses the Privacy Suite for WordPress from Complianz to collect records of consent. For this functionality your IP address is anonymized and stored in our database. For more information, see the Complianz Privacy Statement.

Akismet

Akismet collects information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter's IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself). Event tickets

Event, Attendee, and Ticket Purchaser Information
If The Patch Works creates, submits, imports, saves, or publishes event ticket information, as well as obtains RSVPs or purchase tickets to events, such information is retained in the local database:
  1. Attendees information (RSVPs and Tickets): name and email address
  2. Ticket information (RSVPs and Tickets): name, email address, and ticket number/SKU (via check-in page)
  3. Ticket purchaser information: name and email address
  4. Ticket purchaser billing address, which is collected through the use of WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, or PayPal
Please note: The Patch Works can collect nearly any Attendee Information requested from ticket buyers by creating a custom registration form.
API Keys
Event Tickets makes use of certain API keys, in order to provide specific features. These API keys may include the following third party services: Google Maps and PayPal.

The Events Calendar

Event, Venue, and Organizer Information
If The Patch Works creates, submits, imports, saves, or publishes Event, Venue, or Organizer information, such information is retained in the local database:
  1. Venue information: name, address, city, country, state, postal code, phone, website, geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude)
  2. Organizer information: name, phone, website, email
  3. Event information: website, cost, description, date, time, image
Importing Events, Venues, and Organizers:
  1. All data present within a CSV or ICS file and external URLs (for events, venues, organizers, and tickets)
  2. Import origin data (URL from where events are being imported—such as Eventbrite, MeetUp, other compatible URL sources, and more, which can include similar or same data as listed above)
  3. Eventbrite Ticket information: name, description, cost, type, quantity
Please note that when The Patch Works creates new events through the Community Events submission form, information is retained in the local database. It is also possible to create events anonymously, if The Patch Works has this option enabled. When purchasing Eventbrite Tickets, attendee, purchaser, and order information are stored and managed by Eventbrite.
API Keys
We make use of certain APIs, in order to provide specific features. These APIs may include the following third party services: Google Maps (API key), Meetup (OAuth token), PayPal (email, Client ID, Client Secret), Eventbrite (API key, auth URL, Client Secret), and Zoom (email, Client ID, Client Secret). Burst Statistics

This website uses Burst Statistics, a Privacy-Friendly Statistics Tool to analyze visitor behavior. For this functionality we (this website) collect anonymized data, stored locally without sharing it with other parties. For more information, please read the Privacy Statement from Burst.

Shield Security

Security

Our website uses specialist security software - Shield Security. This helps to ensure data breaches do not occur and our website and data are protected against hacking attempts and intrusion. Shield Security protects site visitors and works to block potential hacks while monitoring web traffic and filesystem changes. To learn more about Shield Security, please follow this link.

Cookies

  1. The Shield Security plugin never stores any sensitive, personally identifiable information in any cookie at any time.
  2. In the case that the Shield Security plugin needs to redirect a visitor or any request, it may use a cookie to prevent repeated/infinite redirect loops.
  3. For registered/logged-in users, the Shield Security plugin uses a cookie to track user sessions and control display of certain in-plugin admin notices.
  4. The Shield Security plugin does not normally use Cookies for unregistered site visitors. It may however use a cookie to register the closure of the undefined menu title security badge to prevent repeated display.

Data Storage: User Sessions

For logged-in users, the Shield Security plugin stores information on the username, the IP address and the time of last login and last activity. This information is purged upon logout or data cleanup.

Data Storage: Audit Trail

The Shield Security plugin has an Audit Trail feature that will log the following information:
  1. Audit Trail message that may include email addresses
  2. Logged-in username (where applicable)
  3. Originating IP address of the request
For logged-in users this represents information that may be used to locate (by IP address) and identify individuals and their activity on the site. This information is stored for security purposes by the site administrator. This data will be retained and then automatically purged from the database after a fixed time period, as determined by the site administrator. (Currently this is set to 7 days.)

Really Simple SSL

Really Simple SSL and Really Simple SSL add-ons do not process any personal identifiable information, so the GDPR does not apply to these plugins or usage of these plugins on your website. You can find our privacy policy here.
