The Cabbagetown Reunion Day Festival

Saturday, June 1st, 2024

Carroll Street

This historic event is the time for ALL Cabbagetown residents – past and present – to gather and see old friends, make new friends, listen to live music, play games, and buy local arts and crafts. It’s a celebration of what truly defines Cabbagetown: the people themselves. And don’t forget that friends and family are always welcome to join the fun!

For over 50 years, The Cabbagetown Reunion Day Festival has been an uninterrupted annual display of Cabbagetown’s love for its people. The idea began in the early 1970s, when mill-era residents sought to maintain connections with their close friends, many of whom were departing as The Mill started its decade-long decline.

So, c’mon down to Cabbagetown and join the fun!

Keep the Cabbagetown Reunion Going for Another 50 Years!

In order to hold this event, the neighborhood needs to raise money each year to cover overhead costs, especially the street-closure permit and hiring police officers to keep us safe. The cost of hiring police officers has increased significantly in the past years, so we appreciate any financial assistance y’all can provide.

This is a 100% volunteer event, and ALL money raised goes ONLY into paying for The Reunion – and future Reunions!

If we go over our fundraising goal, that extra money goes into The Reunion Day Fund, which ensures that one of Atlanta’s oldest community festivals thrives for generations to come.
