DESCRIPTION:PRESERVATION AT WORK\n\n\n\nPreservation Week 2024 – AUDC\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nEasements Atlanta\, Inc and The Patch Works Art and History Center are excited to offer this “Preservation at Work” tour of Fulton Bag and Cotton Mills in Cabbagetown as we celebrate Historic Preservation Week 2024. Join Sarah Borcherding and Jacob Elsas to explore the mill complex inside and out. Participants will get a first hand look at remaining mill remnants\, learn the storied history of the mill\, and understand the importance of permanently protecting historic properties with preservation easements. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTour details: Tuesday\, October 22\, 2024. 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Rain or shine. Please note the tour includes steps and walking over uneven ground. Property access\, parking information\, and the meeting point will be provided to registered participants. Fulton Bag and Cotton Mills\, 170 Boulevard SE\, Atlanta\, GA 30312. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEasements Atlanta\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEstablished in 1984\, Easements Atlanta is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to accept qualified historic preservation easement donations of certified historic and cultural properties within the metropolitan Atlanta area\, and in turn\, offer term or perpetual stewardship and potential tax incentives for property owners.
